Ynzo van Zanten was The Tony's 'Choco Evangelist' of Tony’s Chocolonely. He is an entrepreneur, author and inspiring storyteller.
In December 2021 he said goodbye after many years to have more time to share his story.

Ynzo van Zanten tells the story of the Tony’s Chocolonely roadmap towards 100% slave free  chocolate. 

Ynzo van Zanten combines his talents as an economist, author, entrepreneur and storyteller in his work for Tony’s (and still manages to sleep a few hours a night). In the past he was responsible for launching the successful smoothie brand innocent drinks on the European continent. Ynzo is also the convenor of the ‘Sustainable Leadership & Entrepreneurship’ program at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and a guest lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and TU Delft.

In his spare time Ynzo sits on the boards of the ’10.000 Hours’ and ‘Plastic Whale’ foundations.

Tony’s Chocolonely isn’t your average chocolate company, but a chocolate company with a huge mission; to end modern slavery and exploitation in the cocoa industry. With amazing chocolate recipes they set the example and show that chocolate can be made in a more responsible way; in taste, packaging and the way they build long term relationships with cocoa farmers and the way they handle an open and transparent value chain.
