Biography

Drs. Pacelle van Goethem is a researcher, writer and the Netherlands' most requested speaker in the field of persuasion, voice and influence. She trains the top of politics and business in persuasion. Van Goethem developed a method to immediately increase personal persuasion and to acquire the best practices from convincing people.

Originally a Speech, Language and Voice Pathologist, she further specialized in Psychology and Mass Communication and participated in research at Radboud University and the University Medical Center Groningen. She discovered the spectacular connection between relaxation and persuasion. Her bestseller "Selling ice cream to Eskimos, the psychology of persuasion" counts as the Dutch standard work on persuasion.

Good ideas must be heard. That is her goal. Even the most brilliant minds sometimes fail to convince out of modesty, abstract telling or too far ahead of the troops. Van Goethem offers insight into the psychology of persuasion and the best practices of very convincing people. She discovered the laws of persuasion and is happy to reveal them. She lets people discover their style of persuasion and teaches them how to immediately strengthen their style.
