Karl Meesters is one of Belgium’s most compelling keynote speakers—known for his authenticity, warmth and extraordinary life story. As the host of the award-winning VRT television series Niks te Zien (Nothing to See), Karl travels the world with well-known musicians, inviting them—and the audience—to experience life beyond sight.
Despite gradually losing his vision from the age of 20, Karl became Belgium’s first visually impaired television host. In 2024, Niks te Zien (Nothing to See) received international recognition with a Golden Rose Award in London, one of the most prestigious prizes in television.
But Karl’s impact goes far beyond television.
As a keynote speaker, Karl shares raw, honest and often humorous stories drawn from his personal and professional journey—living with blindness, becoming a father against all odds, surviving a life-threatening cancer diagnosis, and continually rebuilding his life and career.
